“I felt like I have come to another world. The world where I am free from all stress, troubles, pain, or sorrows. I was 100% inspired by this wonderful course. This course made me realise what is my mistake, where I made mistake and what moment I made them. I have great anger, but through your teaching now I can control my anger and emotions. I am very happy and now I know how to live in this world. The best teachers, the best atmosphere, the most awesome course.”

“The rate of frequent quarrels among students have come down since they have better understanding. They are willing to share and help each other. Children don’t want to be absent to the school. The class X has shown a remarkable improvement in their performance compared to the last year. Since we have noticed a tremendous change for better among our students, we strongly recommend these programs for other schools.”

Schools have long recognised the need for educating students beyond the classroom. The introduction of our ART Excel (All Round Training for Excellence) and YES! (Youth Empowerment & Skills) programs has immensely improved the physical, mental, emotional and social health of students. This has accelerated their learning and has improved their behavior.
The Art of Living teams have reached out to thousands of schools like Bhavan’s Gandhi Vidyashram and IRS Balangar across the country to help transform their attitude to education and to bring an overall sense of positivity, hope and vision for their future through our ART Excel and YES! programs.
Apart from more students passing the exams, the teachers have also reported that the children are more punctual, are able to concentrate for longer duration and the learning is faster. The students have also reported improvement in their health.
The teachers too have been introduced to the Art of Living Happiness program and are now equipped to handle stress better.

How did we work?
Before approaching the children, we approached the teachers and the parents. We encouraged them to attend our workshops to see the difference. Once the parents and teachers were convinced about the benefits of the program, working with the children was easy.
What did we learn?
Children not only deal with issues at school like vast syllabi and tough examinations, but also have to face challenges like peer pressure, emotional turbulence, tuitions and extra-curricular activities. When the students come to school, they carry this baggage that hinders them from focusing and learning.
A value based approach that involves more than just teaching is require to bring a lasting change.
How can you contribute?
There is a substantial population of children that still do not get proper education and are living in poor social conditions. We would like to conduct many more such programs to reach out to more children and to affect their lives positively.
